As we approach the beginning of the summer swim season, we wanted to share some important information for families unable to attend the parents meeting last week.

Evaluations and Practice
For evaluations and practice, swimmers should have proper swim attire as well as goggles. Recommended swimsuit attire is a one-piece swimsuit for girls and speedos or jammers for boys. If your new or returning swimmer needs a practice suit or goggles, the team does have a swimsuit and gear exchange program that has received several donations of outgrown suits and goggles. The donated items will be available during evaluations and practices.

Before your swimmer enters the water, a concussion form and code of conduct form must be completed and turned in. We will have a limited number of forms available on deck during evaluations. Attached to this email are the forms to print, complete, and bring with you on evaluations day.

Swim Meet Uniform
Uniforms for swim meets this year will consist of a royal blue competition swimsuit. For girls, this will be a one-piece suit. Boys may choose either jammers or speedos. The team will provide a swim cap and t-shirt for each swimmer.

We have set up a team store through SwimOutlet where you may purchase either a plain royal blue suit or one with the team logo. Additional team gear is also available for purchase through the store.

Communication
We make every effort to keep our website updated with accurate information about the team and upcoming events. The SwimTopia app is also a great resource for team information and updates throughout the season. While emails will still be sent, SwimTopia push notifications are our primary method for sharing timely or urgent updates, such as practice or swim meet changes due to inclement weather. The login information used during registration is the same information you will use to log in to SwimTopia.
