Lake of the Woods Barracudas

The Lake of the Woods Barracudas is a summer swim team located in Locust Grove, VA.  We are part of the Rappahannock Swim League and practice at Sweetbriar Pool in Lake of the Woods.  Our aim is to help our swimmers improve their skills, learn good sportsmanship, and have fun while competing against other local teams.  Our season runs from Memorial Day until the last weekend in July.

We have lots of fun things planned for the season and hope to see you at the pool.

The Lake of the Woods Barracudas are officially in the water for the 2026 season!

Practice Groups

A: 7:45–8:45 AM
B: 8:45–9:45 AM
C: 9:40–10:40 AM
D: 10:40–11:10 AM
E: 11:15–11:40 AM

Practice group assignments were emailed by Coach Katherine. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before practice so swimmers have time to stretch and be ready to begin on time.
