Lake of the Woods Barracudas

The Lake of the Woods Barracudas is a summer swim team located in Locust Grove, VA.  We are part of the Rappahannock Swim League and practice at Sweetbriar Pool in Lake of the Woods.  Our aim is to help our swimmers improve their skills, learn good sportsmanship, and have fun while competing against other local teams.  Our season runs from Memorial Day until the last weekend in July.

We have lots of fun things planned for the season and hope to see you at the pool.

Evaluations will take place on the mornings of May 26th and May 27th. These evaluations help our coaches place swimmers in the practice group that best fits their skill level. For families who are unable to attend the morning sessions, we will also offer an evening evaluation session on May 27th. 

Morning Sessions (based on first letter of swimmer’s last name):

May 26 and May 27
A-F: 7:45am-8:30am

G-L: 8:30am-9:15am

M-P: 9:15am-10:15am

Q-S: 10:15am-11:00am

T-Z 11:00am-11:45am

Evening Session (for those unable to attend mornings):
May 27
5:00pm–7:00 PM
