Home Swim Meet vs Chancellor Blue Dolphins

Date: Wednesday June 17th

Arrival Time: 4:00pm

Warmup: 4:50pm

Start Time: 6:00pm

Practice June 17^th: We will have normal practice on Wednesday, June 17th. To prepare for the swim meet, we will need to clear the pool deck of all chairs, tables, and other pool furniture. Any help from families and swimmers on Wednesday morning would be greatly appreciated!

All furniture will need to be returned to the pool deck during practice/clinics on Thursday June 18th. If you are available to help with either set-up or cleanup, we would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you for helping us get ready for a successful swim meet!

RSVP: RSVP for this swim meet will close on the evening of Sunday, June 14th. RSVP is also open for all swim meets through the SwimTopia app and on lowswim.org.

Volunteer Information: If your child is participating in the meet, your family can expect to provide one volunteer for half of the swim meet. Volunteer assignments will be available in the SwimTopia app prior to the meet. RSL training should be completed by Sunday.

If you have any specific volunteer requests, including preferred job assignment or whether you would like the first or second half of the swim meet, please email our volunteer coordinator or speak with her on deck.

Swim Caps: Please encourage your swimmers to save their green team swim caps for swim meets. If your swimmer’s green cap breaks please bring it to us so we can trade it for a replacement. If your swimmer needs a cap for practice, we have several swim caps from previous seasons available. We also maintain a bin of donated and free items, including swim caps and swimsuits. The bin is located near where the board sits at practice and is available for families to access as needed.

Team Photo July 1^st 4:00pm: We will be doing the team photo on the pool deck before our home swim meet on July 1^st. Swimmers will wear their team shirt and swimsuit for the team photo. Please arrive at 3:45, the picture will be taken promptly at 4:00.

Barracudas Award Ceremony July 26^th 2:00pm: Join us for our end-of-season awards banquet. This potluck-style event is a chance to celebrate our swimmers and an amazing summer season together. We will present awards, distribute finals medals, and recognize swimmers for their hard work, improvement, and accomplishments throughout the season. Additional details regarding the banquet and potluck will be shared as the event approaches. We hope all Barracuda families can join us for this special event!
