Barracudas: Heading Into Week 7
Next Week we will have our final home swim meet against Dahlgren!
Home Swim Meet vs Dahlgren
Date: Wednesday July 8th
Arrival Time: 4:00pm
Warmup: 4:50pm
Start Time: 6:00pm
RSVP: RSVP for this swim meet will close on the evening of Sunday, July 5th. RSVP is also open for all swim meets through the SwimTopia app and on lowswim.org.
Finals RSVP: If your swimmer has competed in at least two swim meets this season, the RSVP for Finals is now open in SwimTopia. Please let us know if your swimmer plans to attend so we can begin planning for the championship meet.
Coaching Update: Coach Kate will be out of town this week. Coach Izzy and Coach Anderson will be leading practices while she is away, and Adam Porter will be assisting on deck during Wednesday's swim meet.
Lap-a-Thon – July 17: Our annual Lap-a-Thon is coming up on Thursday, July 17, in the morning. Be on the lookout for an email with details about this fun team event, including how swimmers can participate and collect pledges.
Need a Suit or Goggles? We still have practice suits and goggles available for any swimmer who needs them. The equipment bin will be available during practice near where the board sits.
Meet Etiquette Reminder: Please remember that swimmers and parents should not approach or question Stroke & Turn Judges during a swim meet. If you have any questions about a call or disqualification, please bring them to one of our coaches. They are familiar with the proper process for communicating with meet officials and will ensure any questions are addressed appropriately.
Pep Rally Update: We're still collecting loose change for one of our Pep Rally activities! If you have any spare change at home, please consider sending it to practice this week. Our donation jug will be on deck each morning, and every contribution helps make Pep Rally even more fun for our Barracudas. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
Thank you for helping us keep practices and swim meets running smoothly. We appreciate everyone's support and look forward to another great week of swimming!
Go Barracudas!
