Finals are just a week away on July 24th!

Location
Finals will be held at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center
1600 Mine Road, Stafford, VA 22554

The entire event, including the pool and seating areas, will be indoors. Our team will be assigned a designated section of bleachers for swimmers and families.

Meet Schedule
Finals will consist of three sessions. The first session will include individual events for swimmers 10 and under. The second session will feature relay events and the 100-meter individual events. The third session will include individual events for swimmers 11 and older. Swimmers participating in Sessions 2 and 3 will have one shared warmup period; there will not be a separate warmup session for swimmers competing in Session 3.

Session 1 (Swimmers 10 & Under Individual Events)
Arrival: 2:45pm
On Deck and Ready for Stretches: 3:05pm
Meet Begins: 4:00pm

Sessions 2 & 3 (Relays, 100-meter Events, and Swimmers 11 & Older Individual Events)
Arrival: 5:15pm
On Deck and Ready for Stretches: 5:35pm
Meet Begins: 6:30pm

The league is estimating that Finals will wrap up around 10:00pm. Please plan for a longer evening and allow some flexibility, as the timing of swim meets can vary. We are excited to celebrate our swimmers and cheer on the Barracudas as they finish the season strong!

We understand that the timing of Finals can make it difficult for some families to arrive early. However, arriving on time is important so coaches know which swimmers are present and able to compete in their events. It also gives swimmers enough time to get settled, check in with coaches, and prepare for warmups.

Volunteers for Finals
If your child is participating in Finals, your family can expect to provide one volunteer for one session of the swim meet. Volunteer assignments will be available in the SwimTopia app prior to the meet. If you are able and willing to volunteer for more than one shift, please let us know. We have many roles to fill for Finals, and additional help is greatly appreciated to ensure the meet runs smoothly. If you have any scheduling restrictions or are only available to work a specific session, please email our volunteer coordinator as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your availability.
